ROLE SPECIFICATIONS

Position :- Fixed Income Research Intern

Department :- Credit Research

: Fixed Income Research Intern

We are seeking a Fixed Income Research Intern to write institutional-grade Credit Research Reports on corporate borrowers across various sectors.



A key focus of this role is to prepare credit research reports based on fundamental analysis and utilizing Generative AI platforms to extract data and analyze financial filings. We want someone eager to quickly learn and adapt and effectively contribute to optimizing these AI-driven workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Create comprehensive Credit Reports by extracting and synthesizing both quantitative datasets and qualitative information from corporate filings or reports. One is expected to complete four (4) reports per month.
- Build detailed historical financial models and datasets to evaluate quarterly and annual trends across financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement).
- Calculate key credit ratios, including leverage multiples, interest coverage, liquidity metrics, and financial cushions
- Build full capital structures, corporate structures, security details, issuer-wise debt breakdowns, and financial covenants
- Assess corporate credit profiles across domestic (CRISIL, ICRA, CARE) and global rating agencies

Required Skills:
- Robust background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field with exposure to credit research or fixed income analytics.
- Familiarity with prompts and using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM, or Claude) for financial research, document analysis, and data synthesis.
- High level of attention to detail to ensure perfect data and information reconciliation across all report components and clear audit trails against source filings
- Good work ethics, high aspirations, smart-working, and result-oriented
