Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Category Analyst to support Category Management initiatives for Bumper to Bumper Canada, part of LKQ Corporation. This role will be responsible for supporting category managers through data-driven insights, product lifecycle coordination, pricing analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will play a key role in improving category performance, optimizing inventory, and ensuring accurate product data management.

Essential Job Duties:

- Support Category Managers in executing current product launches and product changeovers
- Coordinate with marketing teams for product content, cataloging, and go-to-market materials
- Ensure smooth execution of category initiatives across internal teams • Perform business case analysis to support pricing and category decisions
- Create and maintain dashboards (Power BI / Excel) for monthly performance tracking

•Analyze and identify opportunities related to: Pricing optimization, Inventory improvement and Category growth.
- Conduct competitor price benchmarking (price shop analysis)
- Support ad-hoc analytics and reporting projects
- Maintain and update product master data, including SKU attributes and mappings
- Manage interchange and alternate SKU relationships
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems (ERP tools such as SAP preferred)
- Support product lifecycle management (LCC updates, new SKU setup, phase-outs)
- Execute communications related to: Price updates,



Promotions and New product introductions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information
- Provide MIN/MAX quantity recommendations for SKUs
- Support inventory planning for: Active product lines, Phase-out categories
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to improve inventory efficiency and availability
- Act as a point of contact for: Product-related queries, Sales and regional team requests and Customer service support
- Ensure timely follow-ups and resolution of requests

Basic Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in business, Commerce, Engineering, Analytics, or related field
- 2 - 4 years of experience in: Business Analytics / Category Management / Product Data / Supply Chain/ Category Analyst
- Experience in the automotive, retail, or e-commerce industry is an added advantage

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

- Strong proficiency in: Excel (Advanced Pivot Tables, Lookups, Data Analysis)
- Power BI preferred
- Basic understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, etc.)
- Familiarity with data handling, reporting, and dashboarding tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of: Pricing and margin concepts, Inventory management basics, Business KPIs (revenue, profitability, stock turns)
- Ability to convert data into actionable insights
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams: Category / Product,Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong ownership and accountability
