Role Overview:

The Billing Engineer will manage project billing, quantity surveying, and commercial documentation for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures accurate measurement, billing, and cost control in line with BOQ, contracts, and project timelines, while coordinating with execution, procurement, and accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities:1. Billing & Client Invoicing

- Prepare and submit RA bills, milestone invoices, and final bills
- Ensure billing is supported by measurements, BOQ, and approved drawings
- Track billing milestones and resolve client queries
- Manage variation orders and design-related changes in billing

2. Quantity Surveying & BOQ

- Prepare and validate BOQs from drawings
- Conduct quantity take-offs and track variations
- Identify extra items and perform rate analysis

3. Subcontractor Billing & Cost Control

- Verify and certify vendor/subcontractor bills
- Monitor quantities, material reconciliation, and cost deviations
- Maintain billing and contract documentation

4. Measurement & Documentation

- Conduct site measurements and maintain measurement records (MB)




- Ensure all billing documents are accurate and audit-ready

5. Financial Tracking & Reporting

- Track billing progress, revenue, and pending invoices
- Coordinate with accounts for approvals and payments
- Prepare billing summaries and cost reports

6. Coordination

- Collaborate with project, procurement, and accounts teams
- Support billing strategy, contract interpretation, and cost planning

Education B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering (preferred) Additional certifications in Quantity Surveying / Construction Cost Management are a plus. Experience 6–10 years of experience in billing/quantity surveying for commercial interior fit out or construction projects. Experience working with corporate interiors, office fit-outs, or commercial projects is preferred. Exposure to client billing, subcontractor billing, and cost tracking for projects typically above ₹1–5 crore.

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
