JD for Associate, Accounts & Finance In the role of the Associate, Accounts & Finance, the person shall report to the Manager - Finance and engage in a scope of work spanning financial and administrative aspects relating to the broad Key Result Areas (KRAs) covering Accounts Management & Maintenance, Payroll Operations, Generation and Reporting of Accounts MIS, Cash & Bank Transactions, Managing receivables and payables, and Audit Support.
Position & Designation
Grade – Associate The Associate, Accounts & Finance to be designated in Forge at the grade of Associate, is responsible for the end-to-end book-keeping, processing payroll, preparation of periodic accounts/financial reporting statements, and tracking of all deliverables expected from the accounts department. By performing the activities diligently the associate shall maintain all records in compliance with statutory requirements and as per the stated guidelines of the company's accounting policy.
Compensation
Forge compensation is at par with the top end of the social enterprises sector in India and continuously benchmarked to be above the average compensation offered in the social (non-commercial or development) sector in general but significantly above the average compensation offered by TBIs in general in India. The Total CTC will include 2 major components namely, Fixed Monthly Gross and Annual Development Bonus (linked to demonstration of progress on developing and strengthening capabilities in alignment with the Career Advancement and Capabilities Development framework of Forge).
Role & Responsibilities - Key Result Areas
- Accounts Maintenance
- Complete end-to-end accounting in Tally ERP 9.0 for complete bookkeeping of all financial transactions in accordance with the company's accounting policy and guidelines.
- Generation and accounting for invoices, raising of purchase orders, handling confirmation receipts from teams and ensuring maintenance of the same in records.
- Preparation of payment approvals in adherence to accounting policy while accounting for payments as well as reconciliation with the bank statements at periodic intervals.
- Payroll processing
- Accounting for payroll disbursements, maintaining relevant ledgers and records for the same
- Ensuring ESI, PF, TDS compliance by managing challans, filing returns and managing inspections.
- Warranting closure of payroll processes in a timely manner and supporting the audit procedure.
- Maintenance of budgeting and projection reports wrt. payroll operations and controlling variance.
- Management Information System
- Preparing and maintaining monthly MIS reports.
- Reconciling all differences in payments against the bank statements while submitting MIS to the Financial Controller.
- Ensuring payment of all statutory payments for service providers and extending support for audit operations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
