Position Summary The University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor English from passionate, innovative, and academically accomplished professionals committed to excellence in English language teaching, soft skills training, research, and student engagement. The ideal candidate should be capable of delivering globally benchmarked curriculum, fostering critical and creative thinking, enhancing students communication and interpersonal competencies, and contributing meaningfully to interdisciplinary academic and research initiatives.

Role & responsibilities

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English Language, Communication, Literature, Soft Skills, Personality Development, and interdisciplinary domains as assigned by the University.
- Deliver advanced and internationally aligned curriculum in collaboration with global faculty, academic experts, and industry professionals.
- Conduct English Language Teaching (ELT) sessions focusing on speaking, listening, reading, writing, business communication, and professional communication skills.
- Design and facilitate training programs on soft skills, including interpersonal communication, leadership, teamwork, presentation skills, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, and workplace etiquette.
- Adopt innovative and learner-centric pedagogies, including Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Problem-Based Learning methodologies.
- Integrate contemporary subjects such as Systems Thinking, Design Thinking, Critical Thinking,



and Communication Skills into classroom teaching and academic projects.
- Mentor and guide students in academic progression, research, communication skills, personality development, and career readiness.
- Develop instructional materials, course content, assessments, and technology-enabled learning resources in alignment with University standards.
- Contribute to academic administration, student activities, outreach programs, and departmental growth

Preferred candidate profile

- Masters Degree in English from a recognized University with an excellent academic record.
- Robust passion for English language teaching, communication training, soft skills development, and higher education teaching.
- Energetic and student-centric professional with an interest in American Language and Culture.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in English Language Teaching (ELT), soft skills training, academic training, or related higher education engagement.
- Ability to deliver globally benchmarked curriculum alongside international faculty and professionals.
- Demonstrated inclination towards innovative, interdisciplinary, and socially relevant research.
- Technological proficiency and ability to use digital teaching-learning tools effectively.
- Expertise in applying learner-centric pedagogies, experiential learning approaches, and communication-based teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, mentoring, and training skills.
