MIS/Data Analyst – Corporate Accounting is primarily responsible to take care of large sets of numerical data through contract management (executed service agreement) & extracting from them valuable information about Company's revenue that can help management make business decisions. This is an independent role to maintain database that supports revenue recognition model as per ASC606 using SQL database in the backend.

This role will also be responsible for proper support function to Accounts Receivable group by maintaining proper documentation on policies and procedures relating to revenue accounting and Accounts Receivable. The role will also be responsible for assisting all reporting & MIS data for AR group.

Responsibilities:

- Gathering and analyzing data
- Support US data team to determine monthly revenue forecast & review revenue figures
- Maintain standard revenue recognition policy and support revenue generation activities
- Maintain executed service agreement for all revenue related activities as supporting reference
- Work with revenue team in developing and implementing revenue management initiatives
- Run various revenue related reports through SQL database and writing applications to interface with SQL database through various SQL queries to store, sort, and retrieve data. These can range from basic commands like read, write, create, and update to complex commands that fetch and manage data across multiple table
- Intercept and manage data sources in various formats, such as Excel, CSV, PDF, etc.



and transform that data into standardized and cleansed format so that it can be loaded into our database
- Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data

Qualifications:

- Graduate degree in Data/Finance; Masters’ degree is a plus.
- 6+ years of post-qualification experience in similar kind of role/profile with skillset as under.
- Advanced Excel skills required. Must be able to perform the following: data manipulation, conditional formatting, lookup functions, logical functions, MATCH and SUBTOTAL functions, macro use and development.
- Mapping data from one source to another, such as SQL, Power BI, Power Query, Pivot Tables, Tableau and using other advanced functions; must have in-depth understanding of primary functions within Excel.
- Comfortable and highly proficient in working with large sets of data in spreadsheets and other information systems.
- Ability to concentrate and produce a high volume of work in a short time period, handling multiple priorities, while meeting tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail with drive for all data to tie together; must be able to consistently produce work that is accurate and error-free.
- Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with solid organization and priority setting skills.
- Excellent Customer Service skills which include sensitivity to customer’s needs and expectations.
- Ability to expand job responsibilities, suggest improvements, and collaborate with others to generate ideas.
