Job Description - Drafter

Experience - 2-5 years

Location- Sri City

Key Responsibilities

 Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software

 Create detailed manufacturing drawings including:

o Dimensions, tolerances, and notes

o Bill of Materials (BOM)

 Interpret and convert engineering concepts into technical drawings

 Apply GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards

 Modify and update existing drawings based on design changes

 Support production and quality teams with drawing-related clarifications

 Ensure drawings comply with customer and industry standards

 Maintain drawing revisions and document control systems

 Collaborate with design, process, and quality engineers

Key Skills





 Proficiency in CAD tools such as:

o AutoCAD

o SolidWorks

o Siemens NX

 Solid understanding of:

o Engineering drawings

o GD&T; standards

 Knowledge of manufacturing processes:

o Machining (Turning, Milling, VTL)

o Sheet metal / fabrication (if applicable)

 Attention to detail and accuracy

 Revision control and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

 Diploma / Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field

 Experience in manufacturing or design environment

 Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems
