Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drone Lead Integrator to spearhead the design, assembly, integration, and optimization of advanced UAV systems. This is a hands-on, leadership-driven role requiring deep technical in drone architecture, flight systems, and real-world deployment.
The ideal candidate is not just a designer,



but a builder and problem-solver who understands how drones behave in real-world environments and can lead end-to-end system integration—from components to flight readiness.

Key Responsibilities

1. UAV System Design & Architecture
• Design and develop UAV platforms (multirotor, fixed-wing, hybrid systems) based on mission requirements
• Define system architecture including propulsion, avionics, payloads, communication systems, and power distribution
• Perform component selection and compatibility analysis
2. Integration & Assembly
• Lead full drone integration including:
o Flight controllers (Pixhawk, Cube, etc.)
o ESCs, motors, propellers
o GPS, telemetry modules, RC systems
• Integrate sensors, cameras, LiDAR, and custom payloads
• Ensure seamless hardware-software interfacing
3. Flight Systems & Tuning
• Configure and tune flight stacks such as:
o PX4 Autopilot
o ArduPilot
• Perform PID tuning, flight optimization, and stability enhancements
• Conduct test flights and troubleshoot performance issues
4. Testing & Validation
• Develop and execute rigorous testing protocols (bench + field testing)
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software failures
• Ensure reliability under varying environmental conditions
5. Compliance & Safety
• Ensure UAV systems meet DGCA regulations and safety standards
• Maintain documentation for compliance, certification, and audits
6. Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead a team of engineers and technicians
• Work closely with R&D;, manufacturing, and operations teams
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce best engineering practices

Required Skills & Expertise





Core Technical Skills
• Deep understanding of UAV dynamics, aerodynamics, and flight mechanics
• Solid experience with flight controllers, ESC calibration, and power systems
• Expertise in drone communication systems (RF, telemetry, FPV)
• Proficiency in integration of payload systems (mapping, surveillance, delivery)
Software & Tools
• Hands-on experience with:
o Mission planning tools (QGroundControl, Mission Planner)
o Embedded systems and firmware configuration
• Working knowledge of scripting/programming (Python/C++ preferred)
Hardware Knowledge
• Battery systems (LiPo, Li-ion), BMS, and power optimization
• PCB-level understanding is a strong plus
• Experience with custom drone builds (not just kits)

Experience Requirements

• 4–8+ years in UAV/drone development and integration of Fixed Wing and Multi copter platforms
• Proven track record of building and flying drones from
scratch

• Experience in real-world deployments (industrial, defense, agriculture, surveillance, etc.)
• Prior leadership or team-handling experience preferred

• Exposure to swarm drones or BVLOS operations

What This Role Is NOT
• Not suitable for freshers or theoretical engineers
• Not limited to simulation or desk-based design
• Requires hands-on, field-ready expertise
