The DSR is responsible for driving the secondary sales (Sales from Distributor to Retailer) of Orient Home Appliances. The primary goal is to ensure the availability and visibility of Orient products across all electrical and appliance retail counters in the Rewa district while maintaining solid relationships with the channel partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Coverage & Sales Execution

- Conduct daily field visits to retailers as per the Permanent Journey Plan (PJP).
- Achieve monthly and quarterly secondary sales targets for various categories (Coolers, Geysers, Fans, Mixers).
- Book orders from retailers and ensure timely delivery through the local distributor.
- Focus on Range Selling—ensuring retailers stock not just fans, but the entire home appliance portfolio.

2. Channel Expansion & Management

- Identify and appoint new retail counters in growing pockets like Mauganj, Teonthar, and Sirmaur.
- Maintain a healthy "Active Dealer" base (dealers who order at least once a month).
- Manage the Distributor-Retailer relationship, resolving any issues regarding stock supply or damaged goods.

3. Visual Merchandising & Branding

- Ensure Orient products are displayed prominently at the "eye-level" in retail showrooms.
- Deploy Point-of-Sale (POS) materials like posters, danglers, and glow-signs at key counters in Shilpi Plaza, Prayagraj Road, and Sirmour Chowk.




- Verify that demo units (especially Air Coolers and Water Heaters) are in working condition.

4. Reporting & Market Intelligence

- Submit daily sales reports via the company’s SFA (Sales Force Automation) app.
- Track competitor activities (Crompton, Havells, Bajaj) regarding pricing, schemes, and new launches in the Rewa market.
- Provide feedback on local consumer preferences (e.g., specific cooler models preferred in the humid/hot climate of the Vindhya region).

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Minimum Graduate (12th Pass with relevant experience can be considered).
- Experience: 1–3 years in Channel Sales, preferably in Consumer Durables, Home Appliances, or FMCG in the Vindhya region.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using smartphone-based sales apps and WhatsApp for reporting.
- Local Knowledge: Must be well-versed with the geography of Rewa and possess a valid Driving License and a two-wheeler.
- Communication: Fluent in Hindi; ability to speak the local Bagheli dialect is a significant advantage for building rapport with rural retailers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
