Job Description Pharmacist cum Store Keeper Position: Pharmacist cum Store Keeper Location: Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Kerala Organization: Premier Pharmaceutical Company Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role A reputed pharmaceutical company based in Thiruvananthapuram is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist cum Store Keeper to manage pharmaceutical inventory, ensure proper storage and handling of medicines, and oversee day-to-day store operations.

The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of pharmaceutical products, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities Pharmacy Management Ensure proper receipt, storage, and dispensing of pharmaceutical products.

Verify medicines and healthcare products received from suppliers.

Monitor expiry dates and maintain stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO practices).

Ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards.

Maintain records of medicines, consumables, and related documentation.

Store & Inventory Management Manage inventory levels and maintain optimum stock availability.

Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation.

Prepare purchase requisitions based on stock requirements.

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely replenishment.

Monitor inward and outward movement of goods and maintain accurate records.

Ensure proper storage conditions for medicines and pharmaceutical products.

Documentation & Reporting Maintain stock registers, inventory reports, and store records.

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.

Record damaged, expired, or returned products and ensure proper disposal procedures.





Assist management during audits and inventory inspections.

Coordination & Compliance Liaise with suppliers, distributors, and internal departments.

Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the store area.

Qualification & Experience Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) / Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).

Valid Pharmacy Registration preferred.

15 years of experience in pharmacy, medical store, warehouse, inventory, or pharmaceutical store management.

Freshers with strong academic credentials may also be considered.

Desired Skills Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and inventory control.

Familiarity with stock management software and MS Office.

Strong numerical and record-keeping abilities.

Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
