Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operation Theatre (OT) Technician based in Chhindwara. The OT Technician will be responsible for preparing the operation theatre and surgical instruments, assisting surgeons and nurses during procedures, and ensuring adherence to infection control protocols. Additional responsibilities include maintaining surgical equipment, monitoring inventory, and ensuring a sterile and secure environment.





The role also demands working closely with the healthcare team to support patient safety and workflow efficiency in the operation theatre.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in preparing surgical equipment, sterilization techniques, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Experience in assisting surgeons and medical staff during procedures within an operation theatre setting.
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and safety measures in healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment handling and maintenance.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with medical professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
- Organizational skills for maintaining inventory and ensuring the availability of surgical supplies.
- Formal certification or diploma as an OT Technician; prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
