Position description: Deliver new products for the segment as per the project time line with Manufacturing process target.Establish manufacturing process and facilities for In-house parts and subsystems for the delivery of current products for the segment.

RoleDescription

Formulate manufacturing strategy for NPD &making; investment proposal

1. Achieve target milestones and DR gates for theNew Product
2. Finalise Make or Buy for new products along withPurchase
3. Ensure Technical process design P1,P2,P3,P4review completed and consolidated at alpha, beta and qp stages and DR gates.
4. Achieve manufacturing process targets to achieveAQ/MBQ of the Product
5. Capacity planning for New Products consideringthe current products capacity requirement
6. Monitoring the ordering and receipt of newfacilities, MH facilities, Tools and gauges.
7. Preparing project level SOB & Ensuringdelivery of required no.of vehicles during Alpha, Beta and QP / EJO ensuringthe adherence to SOP. Consolidation and resolution of issues during Alpha, Betaand QP
8. Preparing plant layout options,



Firming up theplant location and taking the approval considering QCD analysis.

10.Ensuringtimely completion of PFD, PFMEA,TMOS,QCPC at different design review gates& updation of control plans alpha, beta and QP 11.Updateproject progress using TOC / PM software, Conducting regular weekly reviewsQPreviews and monitoring the critical path activities and appraising HOD andprogram manager

12.Preparing,presenting design reviews to cell heads, HOD and BLT members.Participation inroad trips.

13.Eliminatecurrent product issues in new products with respect to MIW parts and process(PPP)

14.Responsiblefor in-house - PPAP approval for MIW parts, sub system & final product

15.Resolvecritical MIW issues in consultation with PED categories and Head PED
