Production Planning & Execution

- Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities.
- Ensure timely completion of pump assembly and manufacturing targets.
- Coordinate with planning and supply chain for material availability.
- Optimize manpower utilization on the shop floor.

Manufacturing Process & Operations

- Oversee machining, casting, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Ensure correct machining of pump components like impellers, casings, shafts, and seals.
- Implement and monitor process parameters for efficiency and consistency.
- Introduce process improvements (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S).

Quality Control & Assurance

- Ensure compliance with quality standards such as:
- API / ISO / ANSI standards for pumps
- Monitor in-process and final inspection activities.




- Perform root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions.
- Reduce rejection rates, rework, and wastage.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance for machinery (CNC, lathes, assembly lines).
- Diagnose production issues and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure uptime of production equipment.

Safety & Compliance

- Enforce safety policies and procedures on the shop floor.
- Ensure adherence to environmental and industrial safety standards.
- Conduct safety audits and training programs.
