Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and deliver engaging, standards-based science lessons aligned with the CBSE/State Board curriculum for Grades 6–8.
Design and implement interactive teaching strategies, including hands-on experiments, project-based learning, and digital tools to enhance student understanding.
Assess student performance through regular quizzes, assignments, practicals, and examinations; provide timely, constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance, grades, and progress reports.
Collaborate with subject coordinators and fellow teachers to align curriculum delivery, share resources, and support interdisciplinary learning.
Participate in school-wide academic events, science fairs, and extracurricular activities to promote scientific exploration and enthusiasm.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc.)



with a solid academic record; B.Ed. in Science or Education is mandatory.
Valid teaching certification as per the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) or equivalent.
2–5 years of proven teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in Grades 6–8.
In-depth knowledge of the CBSE/State Board science curriculum and proficiency in teaching core topics such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Demonstrated ability to use technology in teaching (e.g., smart boards, educational apps, online learning platforms).
Robust communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Commitment to student-centered learning and continuous qualified growth.
