Job Title: Accounts Executive – Event Management

Reporting To: Finance Manager / Head of Accounts

Job Summary:

The Accounts Executive at Prominence Brands Services Pvt Ltd will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely invoicing, and compliance with statutory and internal financial requirements. The role is critical in supporting smooth financial operations for multiple events and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting activities including entries, vouchers, and reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable related to vendors, clients, and event projects.
Prepare and issue client invoices and follow up on payments.
Process vendor payments and maintain proper documentation and approvals.
Maintain event-wise cost sheets, expense tracking, and budget reconciliation.
Assist in GST compliance, returns, and statutory filings.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Coordinate with auditors, banks,



and external consultants as required.
Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software and ERP systems.

Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
Valuable understanding of GST and statutory compliance.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B.Com) or equivalent; M.Com preferred.
1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in event management, media, or service-based industries.
Experience in handling multiple projects or cost centres is an advantage.

Other Requirements:
Ability to work adaptable hours during peak event periods.
Willingness to coordinate closely with internal teams for financial clarity on events.
