About the Role

We are looking for a driven and articulate Business Development Intern (B2B) to join our remote team. This is a frontline B2B sales role — not a support or shadow position. You will own your pipeline from Day 1, identify the right decision-makers, craft pitches that get responses, and convert cold outreach into real business conversations.

You will work directly with our founders and senior leadership — gaining hands-on exposure to B2B client acquisition in the branded content and video production industry.

Location: Remote — Work from anywhere in India

Type: Full-Time Internship

Duration: 6 Months

Working Hours: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Saturday

National holidays observed. Sundays off.

Stipend

Your stipend is skill-based and performance-driven — not a flat fixed number.

It is assessed and finalized during your interview, based on:

- Your skill level evaluated during the selection process

- Your prior experience in sales, BD, or client-facing roles

- Your monthly performance against defined B2B targets

In addition to your base stipend, you will receive:

- A monthly performance bonus based on leads generated, conversions, and pipeline quality

- A one-time Final Month Excellence Bonus for top performers

Key Responsibilities

B2B Lead Generation and Outreach

- Research and identify decision-makers — marketing heads, brand managers, CMOs, and founders — at corporates, agencies, startups, and enterprises

- Execute targeted, personalized multi-channel outreach via LinkedIn, cold email, and WhatsApp

- Own your pipeline end-to-end — from first contact to booked discovery call

- Target: 30 to 50 qualified leads per month with consistent follow-up discipline

Client Acquisition and Pitching

- Draft personalized pitch decks and outreach sequences tailored to each B2B prospect





- Represent Novela Films portfolio and capabilities confidently during discovery calls

- Understand client content needs and position our solutions to convert conversations into projects

Pipeline Management and Reporting

- Maintain accurate and updated records — deal stage, notes, follow-up dates, and next steps

- Track outreach metrics — response rates, conversion rates, and pipeline value

- Submit weekly BD performance reports to leadership with key insights and blockers

Market Intelligence

- Build targeted prospect lists across high-intent B2B sectors — BFSI, FMCG, EdTech, FinTech, Real Estate, SaaS, and D2C

- Monitor competitor studios and agencies to identify positioning opportunities

- Bring relevant market trends and insights to weekly strategy discussions

Performance Metrics

- Qualified B2B leads generated per month (target: 30 to 50)

- Lead-to-discovery-call conversion rate

- Pipeline accuracy and CRM hygiene

- Outreach quality — personalization, tone, and response rate

- Weekly report consistency and overall ownership

Requirements

Must Have:

- Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field — OR a certified Sales, Business Development, or Digital Marketing course from a recognized institute

- Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in B2B sales, lead generation, client servicing, or outreach — internships, freelance, and self-initiated projects count

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

- Confident in initiating professional outreach via LinkedIn, email, and WhatsApp

- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently without hand-holding

- Available to work full-time remotely — 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Saturday

- Reliable high-speed internet connection

Good to Have:

- Hands-on experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, Apollo.io, or Notion

- Understanding of the video production or branded content industry





- Prior experience with cold email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach sequences, or B2B calling

- An existing network in marketing, advertising, or enterprise sectors

Selection Process

Step 2 — BD Assignment

Shortlisted candidates receive a real-world B2B scenario to solve — demonstrating research, communication, and execution under pressure.

Step 3 — Google Meet Interview

A focused conversation with our leadership team. Your stipend is discussed and finalized here based on your skills, experience, and overall assessment.

Step 4 — Offer Letter and Onboarding

Selected candidates receive an official Offer Letter and are onboarded into the Novela Films team.
