Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of hands-on experience operating laser cutting/engraving machines and will ensure high-quality production in a protected, efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate laser cutting/engraving machines as per production requirements.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Monitor machine performance and quality of output; make adjustments as needed.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring correct positioning and alignment.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and defects using measuring tools.
- Maintain accurate production logs and reports.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 1 year experience operating laser cutting/engraving equipment.
- Basic understanding of machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required.
