Role Overview

- Annual Spend Ownership: 650–700 Cr (~USD 80M)
- Scope: Pan-India primary & secondary transportation
- Reporting To: Head of Procurement – India
- Role Type: Strategic Individual Contributor (L10)
- Location: Gurugram

Mandatory:

- 10+ years of overall experience
- 5–8 years in Procurement (preferably Transportation/Logistics)
- Preference for FMCG background

Good to Have:

- MBA from Tier 1/2 institutes (NITIE, IITs, SP Jain, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end transportation sourcing (RFQs, negotiations, contracting)
- Drive 8–10% YoY cost productivity
- Own supplier strategy, governance, SLAs & performance
- Lead fleet electrification and sustainability initiatives
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations

Ideal Profile

- Strong experience in strategic sourcing & negotiations
- Exposure to large-scale transportation spends
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication
- Experience in EV/green logistics is a plus
- Working knowledge of SAP/Ariba/e-procurement tools
