Job Purpose To assist in the preparation cooking and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards ensuring consistency hygiene and food safety at all times Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook dishes as per the menu and chef s instructions Maintain high standards of food quality taste and presentation Ensure proper portion control and minimize food wastage Support senior chefs in menu planning recipe development and mise-en-place Follow all hygiene sanitation and safety standards HACCP FSSAI compliance Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations kitchen equipment and storage areas Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor Train and guide Commis II Commis III and Trainees when required Ensure timely preparation of food during service hours Work collaboratively with the team to deliver smooth kitchen operations Key Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting Attention to detail in food preparation and plating Teamwork skills Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Flexibility to work in shifts weekends and holidays Experience Minimum 2-3 years of experience as Commis I Commis II in a reputed restaurant Specialization in cuisine Chinese preferred Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 22 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Work Location In person
