The GCP DevOps Lead role is a high-impact leadership position responsible for designing and scaling cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This lead will manage end-to-end automation, orchestrate complex containerized workloads using Kubernetes (GKE), and drive infrastructure-as-code (IaC) strategies with Terraform.

Job Overview
Experience: 7 - 12 Years.
Location: Bangalore or Hyderabad.
Work Mode: Hybrid.

Mandatory Skill Set
GCP Cloud: Deep expertise in core services like GKE, Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Pub/Sub.
Terraform: Expert-level proficiency in automating multi-workplace infrastructure provisioning.
Python: Solid scripting skills for developing custom automation, internal tools, and pipeline enhancements.
Kubernetes: Hands-on experience managing GKE clusters, Helm charts, and container orchestration.
DevOps Ecosystem: CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions), monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver), and configuration management (Ansible).

Key Responsibilities




Infrastructure Orchestration: Design and maintain scalable, production-grade cloud environments on GCP using Terraform.
Platform Reliability: Architect and manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters to ensure high availability, security, and performance of microservices.
Pipeline Leadership: Own the end-to-end CI/CD strategy, automating builds, tests, and deployments to reduce release cycles.
Automation & Scripting: Utilize Python to eliminate manual toil and develop self-healing infrastructure capabilities.
Technical Mentorship: Lead a team of DevOps engineers, conducting code reviews and providing architectural guidance on GCP best practices.
Security & Compliance: Implement DevSecOps principles, including IAM hardening, VPC service controls, and secret management.

Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Google Qualified Cloud Architect.
