Position Overview: Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is seeking a highly motivated Investment Intern to join our Equity Investments team in Mumbai for a 6 to 12 months period. This role offers a unique opportunity to focus on private equity investments, encompassing both direct company investments and fund investments. You will report directly to senior deal team members, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic investment workplace. Key Responsibilities: Market Intelligence: Track industry trends and maintain internal sector databases to identify emerging opportunities. Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial modeling and analysis for potential investment opportunities. Due Diligence: Support the deal team with market research, company valuations, and comprehensive industry analysis. Documentation: Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for internal committees. Portfolio Management: Monitor the performance of existing portfolio companies and fund investments. Required Qualifications: Education:
Currently pursuing their CA. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Microsoft Excel. Tools: Familiarity with financial databases such as Capital IQ or PitchBook is preferred. Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent English communication skills. Prior experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory Services or Valuations Learning Outcomes: Gain exposure to the full investment lifecycle , from initial sourcing to exit strategies. Develop a robust understanding of private equity deal structuring working with experienced senior deal team members from the Private Equity Industry . Build institutional-grade investment analysis and reporting skills. Experience working within a sophisticated global equity investments environment.
