The organization emphasizes reliability, technical excellence, and on-time delivery to build long-term partnerships with clients.Role Description:This is a full time, on-site role for aQC Engineer – Fabrication & Pressure Vessels (Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Aluminium etc)located in Hosur. The QC Engineer will inspect pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping, and fabricated steel structures at various stages of production to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing material test certificates, welding procedure specifications (WPS), procedure qualification records (PQR), and welder qualifications, as well as monitoring fit-up, welding, NDT, dimensional checks, and hydro/pneumatic testing. The role involves preparing and maintaining quality documentation such as inspection reports, ITPs,



quality records, and final dossiers, and coordinating with production, design, and project teams to resolve non-conformities. The QC Engineer will also support internal and external audits, interface with client/third-party inspectors, and recommend continuous improvements in fabrication and quality processes.Qualifications:Strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, including hands-on inspection of fabrication, welding, and testing activities for pressure vessels and related equipment.Proficiency in Quality Management practices, including implementing and following ITPs, SOPs, and compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.G., ASME, API, IS standards).Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, MTCs, NDT reports, and test results to identify issues and propose corrective actions.Effective Communication skills to collaborate with production, design, and project teams, and to interact confidently with customers, third-party inspectors, and auditors.Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.Relevant experience in fabrication shops handling pressure vessels, tanks, or heavy engineering components; exposure to manufacturing for process industries is preferred.Working knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW), NDT methods (e.G., RT, UT, MPI, DPI), and associated documentation.Familiarity with ISO standards.
