As a Senior Accountant with 8 years of Real Estate Accounting Experience in Bengaluru Market, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations, contracts, and purchases to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Accounting: You will oversee financial transactions (AP/AR), maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Taxation: Handle taxation tasks such as GST, income tax filings, and stay updated on tax regulations to ensure adherence.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, prepare reports including income statements and balance sheets, and provide valuable recommendations based on the analysis.
- Budgeting &
- Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts while monitoring performance to ensure financial goals are met.
- Audit &
- Compliance: Coordinate both internal and external audits, ensure regulatory compliance, particularly focusing on RERA requirements.
- Contracts &
- Purchases: Oversee the financial aspects of contracts and purchase agreements, ensuring proper documentation and compliance. Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to review contract terms and manage vendor payments effectively.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor junior finance staff, providing them with necessary support and guidance to enhance their skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance required (Masters/CPA preferred).
- 8 years of experience in accounting, taxation, contracts, and purchases, with a mandatory background in real estate.
- Solid knowledge of Indian tax laws, RERA guidelines, and proficiency in accounting software such as Tally and MS Excel are essential.
- Excellent analytical skills, effective communication, and proven team management abilities are crucial for this role.
