Job Description:

BHARATINDUS METALS PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities for the sheet metal manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, material sourcing, cost control, and to ensure uninterrupted production and timely availability of raw materials.

Responsibilities:

Procurement & Vendor Management

· Manage the end-to-end procurement process for sheet metal raw materials, components, and consumables.

· Identify and develop current vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.

· Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure timely delivery and service support.

· Conduct vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.

Material Planning & Cost Control

· Coordinate with production, planning, and stores departments to understand material requirements.

· Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production delays.

· Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost reduction and best commercial terms.

· Monitor market trends for steel, sheet metal, and fabrication materials.





Documentation & Compliance

· Prepare purchase orders, cost comparison sheets, and vendor agreements.

· Maintain procurement records in ERP / SCM systems.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile:

· Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

· Solid knowledge of sheet metal raw materials and fabrication components

· Vendor development and negotiation skills

· Supply Chain Management (SCM) expertise

· Inventory planning and procurement strategy

· Cost analysis and supplier evaluation

· ERP / SAP / Zoho inventory knowledge

· Leadership and team handling skills

· Experience in Sheet Metal / Fabrication / Engineering Manufacturing Industry

· Exposure to steel procurement, laser cutting materials, fabrication consumables, and hardware

· Experience handling purchase teams and SCM coordination

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
