Role Overview:nIn this role, you will be responsible for providing technical sales support from an office-based environment. You will handle customer inquiries, understand their requirements, recommend suitable solutions, prepare quotations and proposals, and coordinate with internal teams. Your main focus will be to support the sales team in achieving targets while ensuring strong product knowledge and customer satisfaction.nnKey Responsibilities:n- Monitor and track open quotes and orders, ensuring timely follow-ups to expedite transactions and achieve business goalsn- Manage credit processes and assist in developing customer-specific pricing strategies to align with business potential and maintain competitive positioningn- Identify opportunities to replace competitor products with Festo equivalents, collaborating with the field team to target new business and increase market sharen- Suggest value engineering approaches and deliver optimized automation solutions to meet customer needs, enhancing product efficiency and cost-effectivenessn- Share knowledge of the latest product offerings and phased-out products with the sales team to ensure they are equipped with current information for effective customer engagementn- Conduct market research and gather competitor intelligence to provide insights that inform strategy and sustain Festo's competitive edgennQualifications Required:n- 25 years of experience with a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with strong technical understanding and product knowledge in industrial/automation solutionsn- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, understand requirements, and support sales activitiesn- Self-driven individual with a go-getter attitude, strong teamwork, and good business acumen with basic market awarenessnn(Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description)
