Appbay Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Appian Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade business applications using the Appian Low-Code Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Appian development, solution architecture, team leadership, and client-facing project delivery. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor and guide development teams while delivering scalable and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications on the Appian platform while adhering to industry best practices.
- Design and implement complex workflows, records, reports, interfaces, process models, and integrations using Appian SAIL and other platform components.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, clients, architects, and project managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of Appian developers, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews.
- Integrate Appian applications with external systems, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability across all development initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions, project estimations,



and technical planning activities.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for applications, integrations, configurations, and deployment processes.
- Drive adoption of development standards, governance processes, and Agile best practices across projects.

Required Skills:

- 6+ years of overall software development experience with at least 5 years of hands-on Appian development experience.
- Strong expertise in Appian SAIL, Process Modeling, Expression Rules, Records, Reports, and Data Fabric.
- Extensive experience with Appian integration mechanisms, including REST APIs, Web Services, and Connected Systems.
- Strong understanding of Appian architecture, application performance optimization, and best practices.
- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Appian Senior Developer or Lead Developer Certification is highly preferred.
