Job Description – Senior Storyboard Artist (Onsite – Kolkata)

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and experienced Senior Storyboard Artist to visualize concepts and transform scripts into engaging visual narratives. The ideal candidate should have strong drawing skills, cinematic storytelling abilities, and experience creating storyboards for animation, educational content, advertisements, or digital media projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret scripts, concepts, and creative briefs to create detailed storyboards.
- Visualize scenes, character actions, camera angles, transitions, and compositions.
- Develop story sequences that effectively communicate the narrative and learning objectives.
- Collaborate with scriptwriters, instructional designers, animators, and creative teams.
- Create rough sketches, animatics, and shot breakdowns for production.
- Ensure visual consistency, pacing, and storytelling quality throughout projects.
- Revise storyboards based on feedback and production requirements.
- Guide and mentor junior storyboard artists when required.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, cinematography,



and composition.
- Excellent sketching and illustration skills.
- Ability to translate written content into compelling visual sequences.
- Knowledge of camera movements, shot types, and scene transitions.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Storyboard Pro, or similar tools.
- Robust communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Experience in animation, e-learning, EdTech, gaming, or digital media industries.
- Understanding of character expressions, poses, and visual continuity.
- Experience creating animatics will be an added advantage.
