Role Title: Content Strategist

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-calibre Content Strategist to lead and shape the digital content narrative for both Emkay Global and Emkay Wealth. The role requires someone who can combine strong financial understanding with sharp storytelling and strategic content thinking to build a credible, differentiated, and institutionally aligned brand presence across platforms.

The individual will be expected to drive end-to-end content strategy, develop market-facing narratives, conceptualise video-led content, and work closely with leadership, research analysts, bankers, and wealth teams to create high-quality communication across equities, capital markets, wealth management, PMS, AIFs, and broader financial themes.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

- Develop and own the content strategy and editorial calendar for Emkay Global and Emkay Wealth across platforms including LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, and other relevant channels.

- Create content pillars aligned to the firm’s business priorities, market positioning, and target audience segments.

- Build a consistent and differentiated brand voice that reflects Emkay’s credibility, expertise, and institutional legacy.

Financial & Market-Led Content

- Write and oversee high-quali ty content across:

- Equities and market commentary

- Wealth management insights

- PMS and AIF communication

- IPOs, capital markets, and investment banking themes

- Investor education and thought leadership

- Translate complex financial and market concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content.

- Work closely with internal teams to identify timely market opportunities and narratives.

Video Content & Thought Leadership





- Conceptualise and plan video content including:

- Market outlooks

- Expert conversations

- Fund manager views

- Investment explainers

- Leadership interviews

- Write scripts, talking points, and content structures for senior spokespeople.

- Coordinate and enable video shoots with internal stakeholders, agencies, designers, and production partners.

- Ensure content is optimised for both audience engagement and brand credibility.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate closely with:

- Research analysts

- Investment bankers

- Wealth and investment teams

- Senior leadership

- Compliance and marketing teams

- Extract insights and convert domain expertise into compelling external communication.

Brand Building & Performance Tracking

- Continuously evaluate content performance, audience engagement, and platform trends to refine strategy.

- Ensure all communication maintains a balance between relevance, sophistication, and compliance.

- Drive long-term thought leadership rather than short-term visibility tactics.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience

- 6–10 years of experience in content strategy, financial journalism, investment communication, or institutional social media.

- Prior experience in:

- Wealth management

- Asset management

- Capital markets

- Brokerage or investment banking

- Financial media or research-led organisations

- Proven track record of building or managing strong financial content platforms

Domain Knowledge

- Robust understanding of:

- Equity markets

- Wealth management

- PMS and AIF products

- Capital markets and IPO ecosystem

- Macroeconomic and market developments

- Ability to understand research, financial commentary, and market developments and convert them into meaningful narratives.
