Job Summary-

The Manager/Sr. Manager Planning & Billing will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, client billing, subcontractor billing, cost control, and project reporting for the Nagpur Metro Project. The role requires close coordination with project execution teams to ensure timely project delivery, accurate billing, and effective project control.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

- Prepare and maintain project baseline schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
- Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), project milestones, and resource-loaded schedules.
- Monitor project progress and identify schedule variances.
- Conduct critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams for schedule updates.

Billing & Quantity Management

- Prepare and submit client RA bills as per contract requirements.
- Verify work quantities and measurements for billing purposes.
- Review and certify subcontractor/vendor bills.
- Monitor billing status, certifications, and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain billing records and reconciliation statements.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and billing procedures.

Cost Control & MIS





- Track project costs against budget and forecast project expenditures.
- Prepare productivity analysis and cost variance reports.
- Generate MIS reports for management review.
- Monitor project cash flow and revenue realization.
- Support project management in claim preparation and change order management.

Coordination & Reporting

- Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in project review meetings and present project progress updates.
- Ensure timely submission of reports and project documentation.
- Support audits and management reviews related to project controls and billing.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10 to 14 years of experience in Planning & Billing for Metro Infrastructure.
- Robust knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and project control methodologies.
- Experience in client billing, subcontractor billing, quantity reconciliation, and contract management.
- Familiarity with Metro project execution and reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience-

- Experience working on Metro Rail Projects.
- Knowledge of FIDIC/Contract Management principles.
- Exposure to EOT claims, cost control, and project monitoring systems.
