Hiring: Student Hostel Warden

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible, compassionate, and experienced Female Hostel Warden to oversee the safety, discipline, and overall well-being of students residing in our school hostel. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in managing student hostels and possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preference will be given to candidates from Palakkad and Thrissur districts.

Position Details

- Position: Hostel Warden
- Age Limit: Below 45 years
- Preferred Location: Palakkad / Thrissur Districts
- Employment Type: Full-Time / Residential
- Experience: Relevant experience in a school or student hostel

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise hostel students and ensure discipline in accordance with hostel and school regulations
- Ensure the safety, security, welfare, and well-being of all hostel residents
- Maintain hostel attendance, leave records, visitor registers, and other hostel documentation
- Monitor students' daily routines, study hours, meal schedules, and recreational activities
- Coordinate effectively with school management, teachers, parents, and support staff
- Oversee housekeeping, cleanliness, laundry, food services, and maintenance activities within the hostel
- Handle student concerns, behavioral issues, health-related matters, and emergencies promptly and responsibly
- Ensure compliance with hostel policies, safety procedures,



and institutional guidelines
- Conduct regular inspections of hostel facilities and report maintenance requirements
- Organize student engagement activities and promote a positive residential environment
- Manage hostel inventory, supplies, and asset records
- Prepare periodic reports and updates for management regarding hostel operations

Requirements

- Graduation preferred
- Relevant experience in managing a school hostel, student hostel, or residential institution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle students with care, empathy, and discipline
- Good administrative and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and manage hostel operations efficiently
- Basic computer knowledge preferred

Salary & Perks

- Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month
