Role & responsibilities

- Dispensing Medications: Accurately interpreting prescriptions and filling medications exactly as ordered by physicians.
- Patient Counseling: Instructing patients on how and when to take their medication, potential side effects, and proper storage.
- Safety & Interaction Checks: Reviewing patient medical histories to prevent dangerous adverse reactions or interactions with other drugs.
- Clinical Monitoring: Collaborating with doctors to optimize drug therapies and suggesting appropriate over-the-counter (OTC) alternatives.
- Preventative Care: Administering immunizations (e.g., flu or COVID-19 shots) and conducting basic health screenings.
