Key responsibilities Installation and commissioning Oversee the physical installation testing and commissioning of PLC HMI and SCADA systems at client sites Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve hardware software and network issues in automation systems to minimize downtime Programming and development Develop test and maintain PLC-based automation systems and design HMI interfaces Electrical design Design and assemble electrical control and power circuits and assist with electrical installation and maintenance Technical support Act as the main point of contact for clients on-site providing technical assistance and training Project coordination Coordinate Factory and Site Acceptance Tests FAT SAT with customers and collaborate with vendors Root cause analysis Perform root cause analysis on system issues and suggest improvements Required skills and qualifications Technical skills Proficiency in PLC programming e g Siemens Allen-Bradley and HMI SCADA design Knowledge of industrial communication protocols e g Modbus Profibus Profinet Familiarity with electrical wiring control schematics and panel design Experience with a variety of industrial components like sensors VFDs hydraulics and pneumatics Problem-solving Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are crucial for troubleshooting Soft skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting Education A Bachelor s degree or diploma in Electrical Electronics or a related field is typically required
