Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Factory Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food processing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production activities and ensuring that all products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in compliance with FSSAI, GMP, and hygiene standards. This role acts as the primary link between the Plant Manager’s production plan and the shop-floor execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Operations Management

- Supervise all daily factory operations, including raw material intake, processing, and packaging.
- Plan and schedule production runs to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets while ensuring timely delivery.
- Allocate manpower and resources across machines and processes for optimal efficiency.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and shift reports.

2. Team Supervision

- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities based on individual skills and production needs.
- Provide on-the-job training for new and existing employees on machinery operation, food safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address any disciplinary or attendance issues.

3. Quality Control & Food Safety Compliance

- FSSAI Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to FSSAI regulations, hygiene, and sanitation practices across the factory floor.
- GMP & ISO Standards:



Enforce compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) , ISO standards, and company-specific quality benchmarks.
- Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Monitor raw material usage and control wastage to optimize costs.

4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of processing equipment such as grinders, mixers, conveyors, chillers, and packaging machines.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and sanitized as per schedule (e.g., CIP – Clean-in-Place procedures).

5. Safety & Hygiene

- Promote and enforce a safe, clean, and hygienic work workplace.
- Ensure all workers use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
- Document and report any accidents, near-misses, or safety violations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
