Role Description The Senior Architect will lead the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and GAE’s standards for design excellence. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves coordinating project teams, guiding design development, and reviewing drawings and documentation for accuracy and constructability. The Senior Architect will collaborate with interior designers, engineers, and consultants, manage stakeholder communication, and oversee integration of sustainable and practical solutions into project designs.



Daily responsibilities include supervising junior staff, conducting site visits, resolving design and technical issues, and supporting project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. The role also requires staying current with industry trends, local regulations, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications
Robust foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design , with proven experience leading complex projects.
Experience with design-related Software Development or digital tools and Integration of multidisciplinary inputs into cohesive project solutions.
Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including planning, coordination, and oversight of project timelines and deliverables.
Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM platforms).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; qualified registration or licensure is an advantage.
Experience in sustainable design, corporate interiors, and mixed-use or commercial projects is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices, particularly within the Bengaluru and Indian context.
