About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Associate Accountant to join our team at Actifyy. This is an excellent prospect for a fresh graduate to build a strong foundation in accounting and bookkeeping while working hands-on with QuickBooks . You will be trained and mentored by experienced accountants and will support day-to-day bookkeeping for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day financial transactions — sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries — in QuickBooks
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliation in QuickBooks — match bank statement entries against book records,
identify and investigate discrepancies, clear unreconciled items
- Import and categorise bank feeds in QuickBooks, ensuring correct mapping
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliation sign-off schedules
- Support the preparation of basic financial reports — P&L; and balance sheet.
Required Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) / CA Inter Dropout or equivalent commerce degree
Preferred - Working knowledge of QuickBooks (through coursework, internship, certification, or self-learning)
Sound understanding of basic accounting principles — double-entry, journal, ledger, trial balance
