Role Description

We're looking for a results-driven Presales Engineer to be the technical bridge between our sales team and clients, directly influencing deal conversion and project quality. In this in office role based in Ahmedabad, you will:

Own the technical solution design process, translating client requirements into accurate, compelling lighting proposals that win business
Conduct site surveys and produce solution diagrams that meet both performance and budget targets
Drive product demonstrations and presentations that clearly communicate value to prospective clients
Partner with sales to hit presales response-time targets and improve proposal-to-close conversion rates
Lead technical input on tenders and RFPs, ensuring submissions are accurate, competitive, and delivered on deadline
Provide pre- and post-meeting technical support to keep deals moving without delays




Continuously optimize proposed solutions for performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness, supporting margin and quality goals
Maintain up-to-date product documentation to support faster proposal turnaround across the team

Consistently accurate, on-time technical proposals that support sales targets
Strong client satisfaction scores from presales interactions
Measurable contribution to tender and RFP win rate

Qualifications

Proven presales or technical sales experience, with strong skills in requirements analysis, solution design, and client-facing communication
Hands-on technical support and integration experience, able to configure, test, and implement lighting or related systems
Working knowledge of security considerations in lighting, control systems, or connected infrastructure
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, or a related technical field preferred
Experience in lighting, building automation, or technical solution sales is a strong plus
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications and convert them into client-ready proposals
Strong analytical and documentation skills with high attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and on-site with clients

Salary Range : 28000-40000 Per Month
Candidate must be from Ahmedabad Region, Willing to Travel to Bodakdev Area,
