Role Overview
We are looking for a Jam Production Manager to run our daily jam manufacturing operations. You will create standard working rules (SOPs), track raw materials and costs, and ensure our jams meet all safety, certification, and labeling laws.

Key Responsibilities
Build SOPs & Manage Production
* Create easy, step-by-step Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for fruit processing, cooking, pectin mixing, jar filling, and packaging.
* Supervise daily kitchen and bottling lines to keep product taste, color, and thickness consistent.
* Oversee daily hygiene, sanitization, and machine maintenance.

Track Data & Production Costs
Stock & Ingredients:

* Maintain accurate daily inventory of raw fruit, sugar, pectin, glass jars, lids, and boxes.
*Labor & Shifts: Schedule production workers and track daily labor hours vs. output.
*Costing:



Calculate the exact cost to make each jar of jam (ingredients + labor + utilities + packaging).
*Waste Control: Reduce fruit spoilage and batch wastage.

Certifications & Labeling
* Ensure factory compliance with food safety rules (HACCP, FSSAI, ISO, or local health regulations).
* Check every batch label for correct legal info: ingredients, expiry dates, batch codes, nutritional facts, and net weight.
* Manage product testing (Brix/sugar levels, pH, shelf life).

Requirements
Experience:
1+ years in fruit processing, sauce, or food manufacturing.

Education:
Degree or diploma in Food Tech, Chemistry, or relevant field.
Skills: Knowledge of food safety standards, basic Excel/ERP for stock tracking, and team leadership.
