We're looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Video Editor (Long-Form Content) who can transform raw footage, podcasts, webinars, and educational content into compelling, narrative-driven videos for YouTube, masterclasses, documentaries, and other long-form platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who understands storytelling, audience retention, cinematic editing, and visual communication, and is passionate about creating premium long-form content that educates, inspires, and engages viewers from start to finish.
You will work closely with content strategists, scriptwriters, designers, and marketing teams to produce high-quality videos that strengthen Codeyoung's global content presence.

Key Responsibilities
Edit engaging long-form videos for YouTube, webinars, masterclasses, documentaries, and educational content.
Own the complete post-production workflow, from assembling raw footage to delivering polished final edits.
Structure videos with strong storytelling, pacing, transitions, B-roll, and visual hooks to maximize audience retention.
Create and integrate motion graphics, lower-thirds, text animations, data visualizations,



and visual effects using After Effects.
Enhance videos through professional audio editing, noise reduction, music mixing, sound design, color correction, and color grading.
Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form clips for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
Collaborate closely with creative strategists, scriptwriters, designers, and marketing teams to execute the creative vision.
Organize project files, assets, timelines, and editing workflows efficiently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ensure consistency in brand identity, storytelling quality, and visual excellence across all content.
Stay updated with the latest editing techniques, YouTube best practices, and evolving content trends.

Requirements
2–4 years of professional experience editing long-form content for YouTube, documentaries, educational platforms, podcasts, or digital media.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve) with robust working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
Strong understanding of long-form storytelling, pacing, viewer retention, and narrative structure.
Experience creating motion graphics, animations, lower-thirds, subtitles, and data visualizations.
Proficiency in audio editing, sound design, color correction, and professional color grading.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and maintain organized workflows.
Strong attention to detail with a passion for producing premium-quality content.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
A strong portfolio showcasing long-form editing work is highly preferred.
