#HiringAlert | Senior Research Scientist / Team Leader – Formulation R&D; (FR&D;) We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Research Scientist / Team Leader – Formulation R&D; (FR&D;) to lead end-to-end formulation development activities, from concept to commercialization, for export-oriented products .
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Formulation R&D; , with preferred exposure to Personal Care, Nutraceuticals, Intimate Care, Skin Care , along with sound knowledge of international regulatory requirements.
Position Details

Job Title: Senior Research Scientist / Team Leader – Formulation R&D (FR&D;)
Experience: 8–12 Years
Qualification: M.Pharm / M.S / M.Sc in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, or a related discipline
Preferred Industry Exposure: Medical Devices / Food Supplements / Cosmetics
Market Exposure: Export Markets – US, EU, and other international markets

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end formulation development , from concept and product development through commercialization, for export markets.
Design and execute pre-formulation studies, compatibility studies, and formulation development strategies .
Plan, coordinate, and manage trial batches, scale-up activities, and technology transfer to manufacturing.
Ensure formulation development activities comply with international regulatory requirements , including the US, EU, and other applicable export markets .
Review and approve development reports, protocols, technical documentation, and other R&D-related; records .




Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Regulatory Affairs (RA), and Supply Chain .
Drive innovation, cost optimization, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Formulation R&D; function.
Mentor, guide, and lead a team of scientists , ensuring continuous skill development and effective performance management.
Support regulatory submissions and provide technical inputs to address regulatory and technical queries.

Key Skills & Technical Expertise

Strong expertise in formulation development and product lifecycle management
In-depth knowledge of excipients, stability studies, and scale-up processes
Experience in export-oriented product development
Robust understanding of pre-formulation and compatibility studies
Knowledge of technology transfer and commercialization processes
Exposure to international regulatory requirements , particularly the US and EU markets
Strong leadership, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
