We're Hiring: Area Sales Manager (ASM) – OTC Division

As an Area Sales Manager, you'll lead a high-performing sales team, drive business growth, build solid distributor relationships, and execute sales strategies to expand our OTC business.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve business targets within the assigned territory.
- Manage and develop a team of Area Sales Executives (ASEs) through coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
- Monitor sales performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans.
- Develop and execute territory business plans to maximize market potential.
- Ensure product availability and strong retail coverage through effective distributor management.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor competition, customer feedback, and market opportunities.
- Review product-wise sales forecasts and ensure forecast accuracy.
- Conduct retailer market surveys and maintain market hygiene.
- Recruit, induct, train, and develop field sales personnel.




- Build a highly motivated sales team while ensuring low attrition.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- 4–8 years of sales experience in OTC, Consumer Healthcare, FMCG, or Pharma.
- At least 1–2 years of experience managing a field sales team.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Experience in distributor and channel management.
- Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
