Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation and analysis of costing and estimates based on BOM and drawings

- Detailed BOM creation, review, and cost optimization

- Study and interpret engineering drawings for accurate cost estimation

- Coordinate with design and production teams for cost feasibility

Handle sourcing activities including:

- Sub-contractors

- Raw Material (RM) suppliers

- Bought-out Parts (BOP) suppliers

- Consumables and fasteners suppliers

- Vendor comparison, negotiation, and finalization for cost competitiveness

- Preparation and submission of tenders and quotations

Experience in handling government and online portals:

- GeM Portal

- Railways / IREPS

- E-Procurement Portals

- Support management with cost reduction initiatives

Technical Skills Required:





- Strong knowledge of BOM and cost structure

- Proficiency in drawing detailing and interpretation

Hands-on experience in:

- SolidWorks

- AutoCAD

- CATIA

Valuable understanding of manufacturing processes and material costing

Qualifications:

- BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

Preferred Skills:

- Good negotiation and vendor management skills

- Strong analytical and communication abilities

Experience in manufacturing / fabrication industry
