· To comply with all admission/discharge requirements and ensure efficient carrying out of allocated duties and responsibilities by all personnel in her ward.

· To plan and implement patient care requirements and allocate duties, responsibilities and tasks to the nursing personnel in her ward/unit.

· To act as a role model by providing direct patient care, attending to total health care needs of all patients in the allocated ward/unit including assurance of patient safety, comfort, hygiene and nutrition.

· To pay specific and special attention to helpless patients in all areas, such has food, comfort, personal hygiene and safety.

· Be responsible for education, on the job training and development of nursing staff and students.

· To take regular rounds in the assigned ward/unit including taking rounds with Doctors, assisting the Doctors in diagnosis, effective implementation of the prescribed treatment plan and making appropriate suggestions to the Doctor.

· To maintain effective coordination with other departments in the area of total patient care.





· On days when she is assigned the general supervision responsibilities she will also supervise the function of the nursing and allied departments all over the hospital.

· To ensure safe and clean environment of the ward/unit per standard laid down by the hospital.

· To indent ward/unit stock as per requirement, maintain records there of and be responsible for regular daily checking of stock/inventory.

· To act as a liaison officer between ward staff and hospital administration.

· To maintain discipline among the ward staff, nurses and students.

· To deal appropriately with any adverse situation that has occurred in the ward and report to the concerned authorities.

· To report about any medico legal cases in the ward.

· To write and submit confidential reports (verbal/written)

Maintain the BMC record as per their requirnment.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
