Job Title: Accountant

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our daily financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and ensuring statutory compliance (such as GST and TDS). The ideal candidate will have solid analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in modern accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate day-to-day accounting records, ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage vendor invoices, track outstanding customer payments, and follow up on collections.
- Taxation & Compliance: Prepare, verify, and file timely returns for GST, TDS, and Income Tax as per statutory regulations.
- Payroll Processing: Manage employee payroll computation, including deductions for PF, ESI, and professional tax where applicable.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L; statements, and Cash Flow).
- Audit Support:



Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting
- Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience working as an Accountant or Senior Accountant.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9, MS Excel (advanced formulas, Pivot Tables), and standard ERP systems.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong operational knowledge of Indian taxation (GST laws, e-way bills, TDS slabs, and direct tax compliance).
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.

Job Details

· Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹14,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

· Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

· Location: Bangur Avenue, Kolkata

Pay: ₹10,288.98 - ₹15,437.21 per month
