Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tally Developer (TDL Developer) who has strong expertise in TallyPrime, Tally ERP 9, and Tally Definition Language (TDL). The ideal candidate should have experience in developing and customizing Tally solutions, integrating Tally with third-party applications, and delivering business-specific automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and customize solutions using Tally Definition Language (TDL).
- Design and implement custom reports, vouchers, invoices, and print formats.
- Customize accounting, inventory, payroll, taxation, and other business modules in Tally.
- Develop and maintain Tally add-ons and business-specific functionalities.
- Integrate Tally with ERP, CRM, web applications, APIs, and third-party software.
- Work on XML, JSON, REST APIs, and ODBC-based integrations.
- Develop data import and export utilities.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve TDL-related issues.
- Optimize existing TDL codes for better performance and usability.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide user support whenever required.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of TallyPrime and Tally ERP 9
- Expertise in TDL (Tally Definition Language)
- Experience in Tally customization and add-on development
- Good knowledge of XML, JSON, REST APIs, and ODBC Connectivity




- Experience with SQL Server and/or MySQL databases
- Strong understanding of Accounting, GST, Inventory, Payroll, and Financial Processes
- Knowledge of API integration with Tally
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

- Experience in ERP integrations
- Knowledge of .NET (C# or VB.NET) or Python
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Git or version control systems

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, BCA, MCA, B.E./B.Tech, or equivalent.
- Candidates with relevant TDL development experience are encouraged to apply regardless of degree specialization.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 2–6 years of hands-on TDL development experience.
- Experience working on multiple Tally customization projects.
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts and business workflows.
- Ability to independently develop, test, and deploy TDL solutions.
- Positive communication and client interaction skills.
