Key Responsibilities

- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Develop UI, API, integration, and end-to-end automation using POM and BDD Cucumber/Gherkin.
- Independently own QA automation activities within the assigned POD.
- Define automation strategy, priorities, coverage, and implementation approach.
- Support Selenium-to-Playwright migration using reusable and maintainable solutions.
- Use Claude, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar AI tools for test design, coding, debugging, and documentation.
- Review and validate all AI-generated test assets and automation code.
- Perform code reviews, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and framework optimization.
- Identify requirement gaps, quality risks, dependencies, and automation opportunities.
- Collaborate directly with developers, BAs, Product Owners, and client stakeholders.
- Communicate progress, blockers, risks, and release readiness clearly.
- Mentor team members and drive automation standards and best practices.
- Take complete ownership of automation quality and delivery outcomes.

Must-Have Skills
- Robust hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of BDD Cucumber, Gherkin, and Page Object Model.
- Strong automation framework design and development experience.
- Experience in Selenium-to-Playwright migration or framework modernization.
- Strong knowledge of UI, API, integration,



and end-to-end automation.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools effectively.
- Ability to validate and improve AI-generated code.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Strong code-review and technical-guidance capability.
- Clear understanding of Agile/Scrum ceremonies, estimation, DoR, and DoD.
- Excellent verbal, written, and client communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder-management and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong ownership, accountability, decision-making, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly adopt new tools, technologies, and frameworks.

Good to Have
- Experience with Karate, Bruno, Postman, REST Assured, or similar API tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with Allure Reports, Playwright Trace Viewer, and BrowserStack.
- Knowledge of Git branching, commits, pull requests, and code-review workflows.
- Experience working with international clients and distributed Agile teams.
- ISTQB certification preferred.
