Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong expertise in NOC (Network Operations Center) operations and IT service delivery to lead complex technology and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, delivering large-scale NOC transformation and operational initiatives, and ensuring high levels of service availability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, operational governance, risk management, and continuous improvement across NOC environments.

Role & responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale NOC and IT infrastructure projects, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Plan, execute, and govern projects involving NOC setup, transformation, migration, consolidation, modernization, and operational improvement.
- Manage cross-functional teams comprising NOC operations, network, infrastructure, cloud, security, application support, service management, and engineering teams.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, resource requirements, and project plans.
- Manage project RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) and proactively drive mitigation and resolution.
- Establish project governance and provide regular status reports, dashboards, steering committee updates, and executive-level reporting.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and senior stakeholders,



ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with NOC teams to ensure effective implementation of network monitoring, event management, alert management, incident management, and service assurance processes.
- Drive the integration of monitoring and ITSM tools to improve operational visibility, incident response, and service reliability.
- Manage 24x7 NOC operational requirements, ensuring project activities do not negatively impact business-critical services.
- Oversee the transition of project deliverables into Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations, including operational readiness, documentation, knowledge transfer, and support handover.
- Monitor project KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement and driving corrective actions.
- Manage third-party vendors, technology partners, and system integrators, ensuring delivery against contractual and project commitments.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, workshops, stakeholder reviews, and technical discussions.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and AIOps adoption to improve NOC efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL-based processes, organizational governance, security standards, and compliance requirements.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, capacity planning,



and utilization.
- Lead change management activities and ensure effective communication and adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing incident volumes, Mean Time to Detect (MTTD), Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR), and service downtime.
- Mentor and guide project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability across distributed and global teams.
- Ensure successful project closure, including lessons learned, documentation, financial closure, and transition to steady-state operations.

Requirements

- 12+ years of overall experience in IT project management, technology delivery, or infrastructure operations.
- Proven experience managing NOC, Network Operations, Infrastructure Operations, or Service Operations projects.
- Strong understanding of network and infrastructure monitoring and operational processes.
- Experience working with Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Event Management, and Service Management processes.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional technology projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, resource management, risk management, budgeting, and delivery governance.
- Experience working with distributed and global teams in a 24x7 operational environment.
- Solid stakeholder and customer management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing vendors and third-party service providers.
