Advanced degree (master s or higher) in Public Health, Pharmacy, Medicine, Epidemiology, Health Sciences, or a related field. A PhD or equivalent research experience is desirable. At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in non-communicable diseases (NCDs), preferably diabetes, at the national and/or state level. At least 5 years of experience in implementation and operational research in LMIC settings. Demonstrated experience coordinating multicentre research studies, implementation projects, or health systems strengthening initiatives. Experience engaging with Ministries of Health, national programmes, academic institutions, and other key health system stakeholders. Solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including study design, data interpretation, and dissemination. Scientific writing experience, including technical reports, manuscripts, conference abstracts, and/or peer-reviewed publications. Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple institutions without direct line management. Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification or prior experience working on GCP-compliant studies is desirable.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines. Ability to adapt to evolving project needs and work effectively in multicultural and resource-constrained settings.

Position Objective The Senior Scientist will oversee implementation research, policy advocacy, stakeholder management,



implementation support, and evidence translation activities in India while contributing to regional implementation learning and coordination.

- India Deep Dive Oversee implementation of ACCEDE 2.0 activities in India and coordinate implementation activities across all three work packages. Support stakeholder management and coordination activities with national and sub-national partners. Support implementation of country workplans, timelines, and deliverables. Monitor implementation progress and support reporting requirements.
- Operational Implementation Research Oversee coordination and implementation of operational and implementation research activities in India with support from the Clinical Trial Unit at FIND. Support protocol development and refinement with in-country and global partners. Coordinate research site onboarding, monitoring, and implementation support. Ensure compliance with approved protocols, ethical requirements, and standard operating procedures. Oversee implementation monitoring, data quality review, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with academic and clinical research partners.
- Policy Advocacy Stakeholder Engagement Lead policy advocacy activities for ACCEDE 2.0. Engage with the Ministry of Health, payers, clinicians, advocacy groups, and professional associations; Coordinate stakeholder engagement and coalition-building activities. Facilitate technical working groups, policy dialogues, and dissemination meetings. Support development of policy briefs. Represent FIND and ACCEDE 2.0 at national and regional stakeholder forums.
- Light-Touch Country Support stakeholder engagement and roadmap development activities in assigned light-touch country. Coordinate in-country workshops and stakeholder consultations.



Support country readiness assessments and qualitative assessments. Contribute to stakeholder mapping and contextual analysis. Support development of country-specific CGM stakeholder roadmaps and engagement strategies. Facilitate coalition building with government, clinical, payer, advocacy, and lived-experience stakeholders.
- Scientific Writing Dissemination Contribute to development of scientific manuscripts, conference abstracts, and technical reports for India. Support preparation of presentations and dissemination materials
- Capacity Strengthening Cross-Country Collaboration Support implementation and utilization of the CGM Knowledge Hub. Contribute case studies, lessons learnt, and implementation insights to knowledge-sharing activities. Support implementation of accredited CGM training programmes. Share implementation lessons and research insights across ACCEDE countries.

The Access to Continuous Glucose Monitoring for Equity in Diabetes Management 2.0 (ACCEDE 2.0) project aims to accelerate equitable access to continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) through evidence generation, policy engagement, market shaping, advocacy, and capacity strengthening. Building on the achievements and lessons of ACCEDE 1.0 in South Africa and Kenya, ACCEDE 2.0 will consolidate progress in these countries while expanding implementation activities to India and selected additional light-touch countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. The project will focus on strengthening demand-side readiness for CGM adoption by addressing barriers related to affordability, awareness, policy prioritization, provider capacity, and sustainable access pathways. ACCEDE 2.0 is structured around three interlinked work packages: 1. Affordability Access 2. Policy Change through Evidence Investment Cases 3. Strengthening Capacity Knowledge Systems for CGM Integration
