Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with R&D;, Formulation Development, Packaging Development, Project Management, Innovation, Planning, Manufacturing, and QA teams to source raw materials, packaging, and services for NPD projects—engaging existing and prospective global manufacturers/distributors.

- Drive procurement strategies using system-driven tools including Ariba (supplier onboarding), SAP Rise, IBP, project management tools, iSPACE, and latest external platforms for market exploration, price discovery, cost models, and landed cost calculations.
- Optimize sourcing based on MoQ, lead times, pack formats, shelf life, storage conditions, and testing protocols; build business continuity through alternative supplier development.
- Analyze market trends, cost drivers, supply dynamics, and finance KPIs (e.g., Gross Profit, Cost of Product, EBITDA) to simplify processes, contain complexity, and enable agile value chains.
- Leverage understanding of project networks, critical paths, parallel activities, timeline crashing, risks, and ownership to accelerate NPD launches.
- Establish and lead weekly review cadences, processes, and data-driven decision-making to professionalize procurement as a strategic partnering function.
- Influence cross-functional peers to adopt procurement perspectives, facilitating alignment on sourcing decisions in diverse, international environments (in-person and virtual).
- Onboard and guide in-function teams (buyers, operations) as an individual contributor or leader, leveraging strong interpersonal skills for effective execution.
- Deliver presentations and analytics to senior leadership, supporting double-digit growth in our complex, fragmented supply base across India and global regions.

- Partner with R&D;, Formulation, Packaging, Project Management, Innovation, Planning, Manufacturing, and QA to source raw/packaging materials globally.

- Use Ariba, SAP Rise, IBP, iSPACE, project tools,



and external platforms for supplier onboarding, market exploration, price discovery, cost/landed cost models, MoQ/lead time optimization, pack formats, shelf life, storage, and testing protocols.
- Build supplier continuity/alternatives; analyze trends, KPIs (Gross Profit, Cost of Product, EBITDA), project networks, critical paths, risks to crash timelines and simplify supply chains.
- Drive weekly reviews, processes, and data analytics to professionalize procurement as a strategic partner; influence peers in diverse (virtual/in-person) environments.
- Onboard teams, deliver presentations, and support growth in complex, fragmented supply bases.

Candidate profile:

- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain procurement, ideally in pharma/CPD or FMCG with NPD/innovation exposure.

- Strong academic background: Engineering or Commerce degree preferred, with demonstrated techno-commercial acumen.
- Proven expertise in system-driven environments (Ariba, SAP Rise, IBP, iSPACE, project tools) and external tools for market/price analysis, cost modeling, and optimization.
- Deep understanding of pharma/CPD specifics: MoQ/lead time optimization, pack formats, shelf life/storage, testing protocols, supplier continuity, finance KPIs (Gross Profit, Cost of Product, EBITDA), project networks, critical paths, and risk management.
- Quick learner with excellent data analytics, presentation, and communication skills to influence and align diverse stakeholders.

- Proven cross-functional interpersonal skills; thrives in local and international settings (virtual/in-person).

- Ability to grasp market trends, drive process-led working, and shift procurement from a service to a partnering function.
