Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, we are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Fortinet SD-WAN, Routing Switching, and Cisco Meraki Wireless technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless environments.
This role requires a hands-on professional with strong problem-solving skills, operational excellence, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of network services.

Roles Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Network Infrastructure Management

- Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and Wireless network infrastructure.

- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal service delivery.

- Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.

- Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure transformation projects.

- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and operational procedures.
Fortinet SD-WAN

- Deploy, configure, and manage Fortinet Secure SD-WAN solutions.





- Configure and support:

- SD-WAN Policies

- Dynamic Path Selection

- Application Steering

- Site-to-Site VPNs

- IPSec Tunnels

- Internet Breakout Policies

- Monitor WAN performance and optimize traffic routing.

- Troubleshoot SD-WAN and connectivity-related issues across multiple sites.

- Implement security policies and integrate SD-WAN with enterprise security controls.
Routing Switching

- Configure, support, and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching environments.

- Hands-on experience with:

- BGP

- OSPF

- EIGRP

- VLANs

- STP/RSTP/MST

- HSRP/VRRP

- ACLs

- QoS

- NAT

- Support branch, campus, and data center network environments.

- Perform network performance tuning and capacity planning.
Cisco Meraki Wireless

- Deploy and manage Cisco Meraki Wireless solutions.

- Configure and support:

- Meraki MR Access Points

- Wireless SSIDs

- Guest Access Solutions

- RF Optimization

- Wireless Security Policies

- Monitor and troubleshoot wireless performance and connectivity issues.

- Manage wireless environments through the Meraki Dashboard.

- Conduct wireless surveys and optimization activities when required.
Operations Support

- Participate in incident, problem,



and change management processes.

- Provide L2/L3 support for network-related incidents and service requests.

- Work with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and escalations.

- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards.

- Support planned maintenance and after-hours activities when required.

Professional Technical Skills:
Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet SD-WAN solutions.

- Solid understanding of Routing Switching technologies and protocols.

- Experience managing Cisco Meraki Wireless environments.

- Good knowledge of:

- TCP/IP

- DNS

- DHCP

- NAT

- VPN Technologies

- Network Security Fundamentals

- QoS and Traffic Engineering

- Experience using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with FortiGate Firewalls.

- Exposure to Cisco Switching and Wireless technologies.

- Knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.

- Understanding of cloud networking concepts (AWS/Azure).

- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, or Ansible) is an advantage.

ITIL Foundation (Preferred)

- The candidate should have minimum 5-8 years of experience in Enterprise Network Operations.

- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

- 15 years of full-time education is required.
