IT Business Analyst for Finance Reporting Analytics

About the role

We are looking for an IT Business Analystto join our team, supporting business-critical data-driven solutions.

This role requires a well-balanced profile combining technical capabilities with solid business analysisexpertise. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on technical background (e.g., software development or similar) and is motivated to connect systems, data, and business processes to drive practical and scalable Reporting Analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate business requirements into clear and structured technical specifications, and ensure transparent delivery with visibility on progress, risks and dependencies.
- Take end-to-end ownership of feature implementation and improvement initiatives, from requirements definition through implementation and validation.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, refine requirements, and propose scalable and pragmatic solutions.
- Drive the implementation of new products and features and provide ongoing support for existing Reporting Analytics applications and data products in a BAU environment.
- Support Product Owners in product backlog management and delivery planning, ensuring alignment between business priorities and technical readiness.
- Perform in-depth data analysis tovalidatebusiness logic, transform data, and ensure consistency and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with engineers,



developers and architects to design robust and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and adherence to governance and control standards.
- Identifyopportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a candidate who meets these requirements:





- 5 8+ years of experience in IT Business Analysis or hybrid technical/business roles, ideally in Finance, Sustainability and/or Reporting Analytics.
- Ability tooperateindependently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Experience with database concepts, data structures and software development (e.g., Python, PySpark, SQL).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technology and influence at multiple seniority levels.
- Ability to translate business requirements into implementable technical solutions, balancing feasibility, scalability, and delivery constraints.
- Proven experience with Palantir Foundry or comparable modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake), combined with a background in Finance / Sustainability / FPA and the (Re-)Insurance industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving mindset, including familiarity with product delivery and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong command of Agile ways of working and environments (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
- Experience applying AI technologies and techniques to support product development and business analysis processes.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.
- Learning mindset and adaptability to recent business domains.
